Bakery - More Help with Inventory Management Please

My question is regarding pre-order features.

Are there any settings which I can set that will enable a customer to preorder outside of my business hours and see if the item is available on the day of pickup or delivery? 

The main issue is that some items are only available certain days of the week such as weekends. When the customer pre-orders,  is there a way for the customer to see the availability and inventory of the item for which the customer wants to schedule the pick up or delivery?

We just write in the description the days an item is available.  Cancel the items when someone cannot read.  I would love a better option.
