I’m trying to use square to receive online payments on my software platform and I have to have the API ID Number and Transaction Key…where do I find it?

You can create a API record for your business and start building the API app here. 

https://developer.squareup.com/us/en

Once you set it up and register it for your business and give it a name then it'll be available for any API registration that you need to do now and in the future.
