How do I set up a discount for an entire order? Such as a military or teacher discount?

Hi.  Just got a square terminal and cannot seem to find a way to apply a simple discount to an entire order.  Example - a simple 10% military or teacher discount to the entire order.  I have a retail store where someone normally buys several items.  I have to manually apply the discount to each item and that just seems extremely time inconsiderate to the customer and unprofessional not to mention a will probably easily result in many mistakes. I am not asking about the after tax function.  A simple discount to apply to the entire purchase is so standard I really cannot believe it is not a very obvious option on this device.

You can create Discounts via your Square Account Dashboard.  Here's some more info.  You can also generate coupons.
