How do I change the device name in the Square Dashboard/Settings/Device Management?

I need to change the name of a device as it is being used in a different area.  How do I do that?  I can change the device code name but not the device name itself.

As I see this is your First post let me welcome you to the Square community forum.

For changing the Name of a device you would need to look at which device you are using.  I use Android and Ipads.

For my Android phones Tablets:

I Swipe down at the top to get Settings, then scroll to the bottom for About Phone.  After Taping About Phone it shows a Name and a button below it saying Edit.   Tap Edit to change the Name.

On my Ipads I go through Settings - About - Name

Then you have a Text Box to change its name.

For other devices I am not sure but hopefully its the same or similar.
