switching employee from hourly to salary

i'm contemplating switching my manager to salary.  is it as simple as just changing her status in payroll?  will it adjust her salary for the rest of the year since i'm not starting at the beginning of the year?

Yes.  You can switch your employee to salary, and it will calculate how much per pay period (weekly, every two weeks, etc), so it will automatically account for the rest of the year.

We have had employees that we switched to salary and everything worked perfectly.
