Im new to payroll and need help applying for my michigan witholding account and my UIA employer account numbers...is there a good number to call the irs instead of the website?

Hey @Mindmagiktattoo. The IRS has nothing to do with Michigan’s, or any state’s, withholding and UI accounts. Here’s a link to what looks like a starting point for getting those from Michigan.
if you also need a federal EIN, you can follow this link to apply for one online. You’ll need that before you can get anything else.
Having said both of those things, you might be wise to reach out to a local accountant or CPA to be sure you have all the accounts you need, like state sales tax accounts. We can’t give accounting advice here. Another great resource would be to reach out to your local SCORE business counseling office. They hand lots of great resources for new business owners.
