Are they for 2023, or to be filed in 2023? We received our draft W2s, but they were for wages earned by our employees in 2022 -- to be filed by Square in 2023.

We got two downloads - the second was for wages earned in 2023 - I looked at my own W2 for 2023 and it was for just one 2 week pay period . Very weird

I got some more insight, our team is aware of this and working quickly to remove the 2023 draft Form W-2s and/or 1099-NECs from the Tax Forms tab in Square Payroll. The 2022 W-2 Forms will continue to be filed as normal with 2022 wages. The 2023 W-2 Forms will not be filed until January 2024 as the 2023 tax year just began and total wages for the year are not yet available. We apologize for this confusion and thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this @keyworth.
