Hi,
I have a question about sales and tips on point of sale. I have one terminal and it is used by multiple employees to check out customers. My employees that check out are not all tipped employees, the groomer is the only tipped employee and does not check out customers. How do I set it up to track sales by employees, but not add tips to their payroll? This is probably an easy fix, but I can't figure it out
Thanks for the help

@Pawtenders I am guessing you have a system of keeping track of which groomer made which amount of tips if they are not the ones ringing out the customers correct?
And I am also guessing you use square payroll if you are trying to not have the tips go to the employees payroll that rang out the customer yes?
You can turn off the split tips by transaction in your payroll settings in your square dashboard. There should be an option to manually split tips. And that’s where you would input the data you collected over the week when you’re submitting your payroll and add the proper amount of tips to the proper employees paycheck.
does that make sense? Please let me know if it does or does not and I will try to clarify!
