Multiple Dashboard Logins w/ permissions

I need my office staff to be able to log in to the Square online dashboard to access Square Contracts and Square Invoices. I don't want them to have full access to everything, just some areas so that they can serve our customers who come and visit us in-person. Is this possible?

Yes! This is definitely possible using permission sets.

If you're not paying for upgraded teams access, you'll only be able to create one generic team permission set.

Dashboard -> Staff -> Team -> Permissions

Either create new or modify an existing one. You can make it so Invoices and Contracts are available for the permission set but disallow everything else. *there may be some features that will need to be enabled for Invoices and Contracts: the website will let you know what those are.

Once you click Continue, you are given the choice of where the permission set can be used: shared points of sale, mobile points of sale, or Dashboard. For you, choose Dashboard.

Whenever your team member logs into the dashboard (or a common email/password login for the generic set), they will only have access to Invoices and Contracts.

Hi Ryan, 

Great answer, but I am still a little confused on how my manger would login using their personal computer at home to do scheduling and shift positions. Do the login to squareup.com and if so are they using their own login to proceed to the dashboard? I have always used the master login, but I see a reason to keep that just for myself so I can protect private information.

They can use their email and password to log in with their credentials and not the master login instead!
