Deleting "JOBS" from team members dashboard. Adding "filter by permissions"
TL'DR; Allow to delete (or make inactive) positions that are not in use anymore or are duplicated for team management. Add a "filter by permissions" tab on the team master list, to quickly glace who has what permission.
Hello Everyone. I want to first off say that I love using square. I also love doing regular maintenance to make sure it doesn't get filled with unnecessary stuff. Today is something that isn't getting in my way of being productive, but it is getting in the way of my satisfaction for having a clean dashboard.
First Rant, I posted two screenshots to show my desires. In the first one, I can clearly add a new job on the spot. However, in the second, after years of use and many admins adding jobs unnecessarily, I am left with either duplicates or positions that do not exist anymore, and there is no way to delete them. Now I know you might say, well if those positions were used, then they stay there for reporting purposes, yeah OK, but so do inactive employees. At least if you can give an option to deactivate jobs so they are not in the way. Or even rename them at the very least.
Second Part to my rant. With permissions, you can see how many employees have a certain permission. But there should be a hyperlink on the numbers that takes us to a filtered view of which employees have that permission. Or even better, on the main team tab, have a filter that you can click on your own. We can already filter by job, why couldn't we filter by permissions too.
overall, I think my problems are more for accounts like mine which have many stores and hundreds of active and inactive employees. If your account only has 20 employees, this is not for you.
