BUSINESS OWNERS EMAIL ADDRESS CAN NOT BE CHANGED, EVEN BY CALLING IN.
I am the owner of the business, and my team email address for payroll is the same as the companies official square email address used to sign in. Customer service says there is NO WAY for me to change my email address in my team profile without causing overall damage to the entire square setup. The issue is I can not use the Team app because of the duplicated email address. Can someone in engineering fix this? The agent said that it is a well known issue and there is no work around...
I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Please make sure that someone in support escalated this issue for you so that Square can have enough inquires about the issue to start working on solving it.

Hey there @MountainHouse I am sorry you are having issues. As @Stacelyn24 mentioned I would make sure someone in direct support escalated the issue. You can also submit a feature request on our Ideate Board as well.
