Has anyone bought any Bitcoin through the Square?

I’m curious if anyone has started setting a percentage of their sales to purchase Bitcoin.

Is it safe to keep Bitcoin in CashApp? Has anyone done this? I keep mine in Binance and Coinbase.

Thanks,

Randy

I was wondering the same as I use only Coinbase since 2017 or so.

@Candlestore  I've considered buying through Paypal, but you can't buy crypto with a business account and I don't know if I want to open a regular account just for that.

@rtfulk ,

When I opened my account, I put in and left it alone.   And I am too busy to watch the market on how fast things go to make money day trading.  As for me the way I do things with Bitcoin it would not be worth it opening another account.  I just traded some Bitcoin for XRP when XRP was at 46 cents.

@Candlestore  I just signed up with Square, It was sorta crazy. I click sign up and then it asked if I was a LLC , sole proprietor..etc When I selected LLC the page said we will put you on the list and that is it.

We have a lot of Dogecoin, I hope it will take off one day like bitcoin and I can retire. 🙂

I had friends in 2011 that were telling me about this new thing to buy things with a new coin that was only on the internet.  Found out they were talking of Bitcoin when it was not even $1 and it took like 100 bitcoin to buy a $20 pizza.  Man wish I would have put some more money in it then!  I know Hind Sight is 20/20.   I wish you the best of luck since I just saw Bitcoin go from 65,000 to 49,000 then to 59,500 in a week, its a wild ride.   I got lucky and bought in in 2017 at 2,000 a coin.... went to 69,000 and still can not retire as I only bought a few to test the water.   If I went all in, I could have retired when it hit 68,800 or thought it would hit 70,000 and then dropped to 15,400.   Just remember do not gamble more than you can loose.  I want this to work out for the best just be ready for the ups and downs.

@Candlestore I remember when bitcoin was cheap and Think required a long string on numbers for a keychain for a thumb drive or hard drive. At the time it seemed to complicated, I guess the complication had a big payoff. I have about 3,000 dogecoins I bought when it was .003 a coin.  You're so many sink a lot into crypto or stocks in hopes of  getting rich.
