I had my customer call their bank and the bank said it was ready to go and it still isn't going through and customer has the funds available.

Have you considered breaking up the transaction into two smaller amounts?
Is it declining when you run the card? If so either your customer doesn't have the funds available or it might be a fraud alert. One thing I learned very early on is that unfortunately fraud is a thing and back in the day they'd put you on the phone with "their bank" and they'd walk you through taking an offline transaction.
It's a pretty common tactic for large transactions as they'll say their funds are available but to try it as an offline transaction, only for it to be a stolen CC or not have enough funds on it.
When in doubt ask for another form of payment and check ID. Never offer to run it in offline mode or manually enter it, do NOT let your Fear of Missing out on the transaction cause you to take risky transactions.
