Home Screen minimization is driving me crazy!

The recent update seems to have modified how the home screen on my register operates. As soon as I add an item for checkout, the keyboard pops up and minimizes/scrunches up all of my category icons into only half of the screen. I have to close the keyboard in order to comfortably see all of my categories icons again. Is there any way to change this? I rarely need the keyboard during a standard checkout. It's just not helpful. Thoughts?

Hello @cocosnap thanks for your post. I do not think there is a way to turn on/off the keyboard. It seems to want to pop up whenever it thinks a text field needs completed. But I've noticed some occasions when I'm adding new items and I'm clicking on categories and prices to enter, and the keyboard pops up after every selection I make. I agree, its super annoying and not very efficient when you're trying to input items, or checkout customers.

Do you use a barcode scanner? Not sure if that would help in your situation or not. I have not noticed the keyboard coming up when checking out as in your instance, but I may not have the most recent update running.

Thanks for the response. I don't use a bar code scanner... it's not particularly helpful in my chocolate shop with so many variables. My home screen is so efficient for what we do.... this keyboard problem is a total bummer.
