Does Square charge fees for adding a second register in the same location?

We are ready to set up a square register on our counter location but would like to add a second location in the shop to handle cash transactions only. (Away from the food prep area).

Does Square charge fees for adding a second register in the same location?

Square Register itself doesn't have specific fees for having 1 or 20 in the same location.  the fees are charged for the credit card transactions.  so if it is a CC it is 2.5% + 10¢, if it is cash or a check there are no fees for the transaction.

now if you are running Square for retail or Square for restaurants then those are different apps that do have charges per device for the app plus the CC transaction fees.  Retail is an additional $20/month for each additional unit, Square for restaurants is an additional $40/month for each additional unit.

So if I add the Square app to my husbands phone and he uses my back up swipe to take credit cards it shouldn't trip any additional fees.  I am assuming I would just add him as a location on my account?

I will like to add a second complete sqauare stand register with printer/$drawer In a same location.  Does downloading the square app on the new iPad, is all I need to do?  The blue tooth will do the rest?

i have only added new system to new location via invitation process, but sure how to do it I. The same location

Yes, you can download the Point of Sale app on another device to take payments on. Make sure you're logging into the same account, so the funds will go to your account. 

The transactions fees will still be the same for this secondary Stand. Using the bluetooth will connect the printer or drawer you wish.
