Square integration with Wix

Is Square planning to improve their integration with Wix? So many platforms integrate with Shopping-Cart-Migration.  Is square planning to add this type of integration?  The Square online square has a lot of design limitations and I'd really like to move my online store into my website hosted on Wix...

Square currently has a pretty decent integration with Wix that is free to use. Basically, you buy an upgraded plan on Wix to their ecommerce tier, then you can import your Square library to the Wix Store catalog, and use Square to process any orders that come through your Wix Store. We used to use it a long time ago, and it worked just fine. Ended up using Ecwid app linked to Square on Wix for various other reasons. But both Ecwid, and Wix work great with Square.

All I'm seeing elsewhere in these forums is people talking about how they cannot find any way to keep their inventory tracked between Wix and Square and how transactions come through to Square from Wix in a way that makes it impossible to tell what items have sold or to account for how much of the sale amount was tax.  These seem to be mostly older threads, has this ever been fixed?  If I can't use Square to track my inventory of things that sell across my physical store and my website, then I cannot use Square because I'm flat-out incapable of keeping track of that myself.
