I was unable to make a sale for 40$ in person. A pop up said I had reached my limit. Iv taken up to 37$ before. I used my phone to read card not any hardware.

I know Square has a Transaction Limit per Transaction of $50,000 but never hear Square Stopping a sale for $40. Are you sure this did not put the Customer over their Limit with their Credit Card? Basically, the customer only had $35 in that account or left on their Credit Card? I have had Cards declined in my store because the customer was on vacation and my store was not on their credit cards local regular spending. Customer called Their Credit Card company and then the sale was approved when they tried again.
