Restricting an item/category from any kind of discounting.

I wonder, why square is not able to achieve this despite so many requests. 

I have seen posts from several business owners for adding a checkbox for restricting an item from any kind of discounting. Lighspeed has it, lot of other POS software has them. But just square is not willing to add it. BUT WHY????

Getting insight into Squares priorities is a mystery, they have a lot of feedback that gets lost in the shuffle and people pushing them in a million directions.

My best advice is make the most detailed feature requests you can in the feature request ideate forum and hope users rally behind it, or highlight your ideas in the existing posts.

You have to hope enough noise is made or the right person sees your thread...One day I hope to see a upvote feature request board, but that too is a feature request lol
