Plastic Gift Card Won't Load

My plastic gift cards won't load - I had a previous square account and bought my business partner out so I had to register a new account.  The new account won't accept any of the old gift cards when i try to load for a new gift card purchase.  What am I doing wrong?

HI, those old cards are registered to the old account.  You created a new account which has no connection to the old account.  The cards will not link to the newly created account.

If you call or email in to Square’s Customer Success/Service team, they should be able to get those transferred over to work with the new account!
