Netherlands client

Just recieved an email from a client from the Netherlands who was charged more than I charged.

I checked her account. It only shows what I charged.

Do Netherlands card/bank card holders get charged more due to going out of their country??

My UK and Amsterdam clients have never mentioned this.

Anyone know why?

@KGAC ;

I do not know exactly why but depending on what your customer read and the conversion rates between money this could be why.

Meaning if you listed an item for 20 sterling pounds and you received 20 pounds sterling and the customer was thinking Euros this could be why.

1 British Pound = 1.14 Euros or 22.80 euros not 20 euros.

So to them it seems you overcharged them but you did not.

That is usually where the confusion is for me anyway.

I see a price of say 6000 Indian Rial and think, I can't afford that, then see its 14 cents US Currency.

You may want to ask your customer what they were charged and do a currency conversion on Google and see if that is where the error is.
