My square reader ( for phone) stop working. Can I get another “free” replacement?

HI, replacement readers are not free.  You can purchase a replacement from the Square Store or Best Buy.

Sorry to hear you're running into this. When you can, please run through the Reader troubleshooting steps in our support centre. 

And thank you Gold for adding to this thread, I just wanted to note that Square Readers are covered by a limited one-year warranty, but anything outside of that one-year period will need to purchase from our shop as mentioned above. 

If your Reader is still not working after the troubleshooting steps and it is less than a year old, you can file a warranty claim here.
