Memo Line for Discounts

Hi Everyone!  Hoping someone may have an answer for me.  I'm looking to be able to jot down a memo for discounts.  I have an "employee discount" set up, but I would like to be able to note the name of the employee who receives the discount, as well as a "donation discount" for charities, where I would like to be able to add the name of the organization for tracking purposes.  Thank you!

Welcome to our Seller Community! Take a look at our Square Notes on Payments and Item Descriptions. You can add notes to items or custom amounts at the time of sale, although this is not exactly what you are looking for, this is a workaround.

Thank you!! Yeah, that’s great about items, but I’m looking for discounts. I have an employee discount, but there’s no way of knowing what employee is receiving the discount when applied to the sale.

Hi there, we are also trying to find a way to track employee discounts and also ensure the discount is applied to employees accurately (not applied for non-employee meals).  Have you found a workaround for this yet?
