@pinkcricket Sorry for the delayed response!
I do know that live support is available with Square, I call in and bother them with random questions on a semi-regular basis. Just like every major corporation out there, call centers cost money. If there's a way to use bots and chats instead it's definitely more cost efficient. Is it the right way to do things? Probably not--and definitely not from the end user standpoint.
I can tell you that I've been a Square seller since 2011, and once the system is set up the way you want it it's pretty rare to have to call into support. This system is quite stable usually and things just work. Definitely lean on this community for random questions and assistance first: there's a pool of sellers and admins who are dedicated to seeing you succeed.

Can you actually call and get a live person? What is their number? Thanks so much. I do not find the bots useful.

I would look at your Balance Transfer Report. This shows your Gross Sales, Square Fees, and any other Square charges that may have been deducted such as Subscriptions or Loan payments.
On a Web Browser go here : https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/balances
Once you in your account at the above link Click on your Location in Question.
Then click on the View All Transfers
Then Select the Date Range or Date of the Transfer amount of 89.54 that is in Question
You then should see a Breakdown of your Gross Sales Discounts taxes etc and then the Amount Transferred to you.

I can't find this CLick on your location in question. I found reports but then I am lost. I do see a total amount but there's no way to break down the missing amt.

Hello @pinkcricket !
Tagging in for @Candlestore here. We recommend doing this check from a desktop computer or a tablet. If you have multiple locations, you’ll have to choose your location first. If not, you should be taken directly to a screen showing your upcoming transfer balance. Under that, you should see a link that says “View all transfers.” Clicking on that will give you a list of transfers that have already occurred. Find the one for 89.54 and click on it. A new screen will pop up showing the breakdown of the funds.
Please note that if you have sales after 5:00pm PST, those sales will not be included in the daily transfer but will show in the sales reports. That’s the End of Day cutoff. Those sales will land in your bank in the next day’s transfer.

I think i found it some other way but I see it now. Thank you!!!
Also, could you tell me why there's a phone number to square and they text you but then it basically reverts you back to the website? They don't answer any live questions? And they don't give you an answer after they ask for your phone number and they send a blanket text. What kind of service is that and why would I want to trust them with my sales?

On a Computer as @ryanwanner mentioned you can see the below Screen shots to walk you through this:
Click Balance on the left side circled in Red
On the Below image Select the Name of your Location, I only have 1 location which for me is called Pocono Candle, The Red Circle shows that Location in light blue to click.
After clicking your Location above you will see the Screen Below, and want to scroll to the bottom where it says View All Transfers.
Then you have to select a Date or Dates or a range, for the Deposit(s) in question. I used the Pop out to select Today only since I had one sale so far today.
Then you will see the below image. Since I chose 1 date (Today) I only see 1 date to choose from and 1 sale. Which is circled in red.
After Clicking that Days sales, which is only 1 sale for this example you get a pop out that shows your Gross Sales and other information to get you to the Deposit amount listed. So my Gross sale was $31.98, but my deposit for this transaction will be $26.17 after Squares Fees and a Loan payment.
Hope this helps you find this information.

Hey there @pinkcricket !
The Sellers above have provided some great insights. If you took any payments after the deadline for next day transfer, they will appear on the next, next day transfer.
Here is a Support Article that discusses Transfer schedules and how to edit them in your Dashboard.
