How to view saved carts.

I saved a cart and now need to get back to it

As I see this is your first post let me welcome you to the Sellers Community Forum.

 

1) To open a Saved Cart Tap the Saved Cart icon (orange tile)

2) Choose the Saved cart you would like to open by tapping it.

3) Choose Open Cart at the bottom after making sure this is the correct cart.

4) Either proceed to complete the cart or choose Save cart after adding more items.

 

This is how it works on a Square Stand anyway.

On your phone, you may need to click the three lines in the bottom left corner of the screen to get the menu to pop up first. If you are still unable to locate your saved carts in the Square for Retail app by following the instructions that were provided by @Candlestore here, I recommend getting in touch with our support team. They can take a look at your account and provide guidance on what you may need to change in order to be able to view saved carts. You can contact our support team here.

On Iphone it should be at the same place as desribed above.  If you have an Android, I looked and could not find Favorites at all in any setting at all.  Which kind of Cell phone are you using and which App are you using from Square?

Tagging a few moderators to see if any of them know more than I do about where this setting is on a Cell phone.

Unfortunately we don't know how you have your Square Account setup nor do we have the ability to look at your Square Account setup - only Customer or Tech Support can do that.   We really don't have enough info - for example, are you going to use a Magstripe Reader or just Tap and Pay or a Contactless Chip and Tap Reader with Square's POS App.   Do you have all the items you plan to sell setup in your Account along with the Sales Tax ?    You can also setup a generic type item with no price for selling in person.  If no items at all, no problem, you can simply use the Keypad to enter an amount, change the quantity, add a Note and swipe or tap the customer's card.  It's also easier on yourself if you have your sales tax setup ahead of time - doing so just makes the process quicker.  Bottom line, once you determine what you're selling and your Square Account is setup - you install the POS App, login to the app and connect your Reader.  At that point, you can use the just the Keypad function to complete a transaction.   If you have items, they can be pulled up from your Library and added to the Apps Favorite screen but, that's a lesson for another time.

I have an iphone.  I am using POS Square.  I have tax set yp and items listed - can’t locate tile for saved carts - and can’t find a way to move items into a cart.

 

Jave figured out the grand total keyboard option, but then I have to manually track inventory…

No orange tile can be found - the three bars are on the bottom right - but there is no “saved cart” on my menu that cones up….

I have already emailed - and am still not getting the brand new to an iphone instructions needed….  Really need somebody to step by step it as though the iPhone is a foreign object level of instruction.

I am also having this prob- can choose to “save cart” Square retail confirms my cart is saved and then POOF! no saved carts orange icon, no choices to retrieve under the 3 bottom bars.  running iphone SE, ios 17.5.1. saved carts doesn’t show up on my ipad either.  both have been updated to latest squareup update.
