Credit card payment not authorized from square POS, possibly related to an software update. No issue with mobile square system or contactless payment via phone.

Probably more details would be helpful - what is your Square POS setup (example: iPad with Stand). Which type of mobile devices - Apple or Android? The volunteers here are not the same as Tech or Customer Support but, there is a lot of hands-on experience using Square's Apps and Hardware however, there's quite a few combinations of devices that can be used so it's helpful to understand exactly what is working and what is not. Your other option is to contact Support direct which can be done via your Square Account.

Yes. Thank you for your support. We have two square registers that were recently updated. The customer display card reader function is the only function that is no longer working. We have reseated the display in the main display, connected the customer display to the main display via cable, restarted the entire system, double checked if IC payment would work and they do. It’s only credit card both chip and tap. Manual entry works. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
