Anyone recently had tips not being recorded?

I had a support request in recently, spoke with support for a while over the phone. I have on camera a customer pressing a tip button, but the tip not showing on that transaction. Also I have another customer statement on messages that claim they tipped, but it didn't go through. I have a period where there is very few tips on transactions. Now it seems transactions with tips are showing up without tip while processing, then adding the tip and finalizing. It seems like it is adding an extra step inside itself now. Went from 30% tipping to 80% tipping.

Point being, I think SQUARE POS App had an issue after a recent update and failed to process some tips. Square maybe didn't know it at the time, but has since fixed the issue and is not coming forward with the mistake. Now my employees are out of tips they deserve.

Just want to know if anyone else noticed this happen.
