Separate Tipping for Services from Retail

I own a beauty business that is 50% professional services and 50% retail. Most of the time, people purchase products alongside their services however, I am wondering if there is any way to single out the service for calculating tip so they aren’t tipping on their service and the products? Also, is there anyway to have the square POS not ask people for a tip if they are only purchasing retail items with no services attached? I find that I must always explain to clients on the tipping screen that they have to do a custom tip because the percentages show for the retail and services. In the beauty industry, It is standard to ONLY tip on the services so It would be so helpful to create a checkout process that aligns with the industry norm and avoid awkward conversations with clients around tipping. Welcome to the chorus of all us beauty industry people who have been asking for this for YEARS. I even spoke to Square reps at a recent beauty conference and asked them about it. The powers that be must know about this but are choosing to not implement it.
