First, let me tell you how much I love the Google listing integration that allows me to change my hours, etc, on Square and have those changes sync to my Google listing. However, I noticed something missing as I opened for ice cream season this year.
Google allows us to specify that we are “temporarily closed.” This is useful in my situation when I just want to toggle that I’m not open temporarily and not have to change all of my daily hours. Last season, I did this via Google, but when I changed my hours this season I forgot about that toggle. So, after a few days of showing temporarily closed on Google (with my NEW hours as reported by Square), I finally realized my mistake and went to Google and manually toggled that off.
It would be very helpful for Square to add to the syncing functionality this (and of course the other Google hours functionality) to the integration so that I’m not forced to have to update my new season in two places.
