YES! This is so needed. We create gift baskets using items available as open stock in our store. We sell with a single SKU to have a clean price point and make the transaction easy. It is so much work to inventory out items, apply cost to baskets, the create a new SKU.
Combinations are certainly a huge hit in the feature request department. At this time there hasn't been many updates on the development but we're happy to mark this post as "Reviewed" and continue to monitor to ensure that our engineers get visibility on this request. I appreciate you taking the time to share feedback.
We have a similar case as @CedarHillMarket where we create boards and gift baskets, we currently are doing manual inventory adjustment for the items going into the basket, it is a hassle and does not allow for clear visibility on inventory relief and profit margins of the baskets.
We also create new products from 2 individual products and do not have a nice way of calculating and ricing.
I really, really, really, really, really, need this bundle feature. I have a uniform and apparel company. I need to package uniform items together and offer to baseball organizations. For example, a hat, 2 jerseys, 2 pants and socks in my "Pro Package" for "x" $.
Face it... Square Up DOESN'T CARE! End of story. They really should just shut down this seller community.
This has been an issue from 2016!!!!!!!! So it should be quite obvious that they just don't care. You might ask...Why? Because it doesn't make Square Up any extra money 💸.
Look at every single new feature Square Up has released they're all just ways for them to take and take and take more of your money. So not what I thought I was signing up for. Square Up has got to be the biggest con artist on the internet!
I REALLY need to be able to track inventory for bundled items. The vast majority of our sales are bundled items. We are selling more and more gift baskets out of our store. This is a MAJOR concern (since we chose square bc of it's ability to accurately track inventory) that square still doesn't track inventory accurately in 2 major ways:
1) Cannot enter the date inventory was received. Square's inability to capture the real date of receipt is incredibly inaccurate and inflexible - especially when trying to enter an invoice as the end of a week where the beginning of the week was a different month. It is very common that a month ends mid week and the beginning of a week is in one month and the end is in another.
2) When we bundle multiple items all tracked in inventory into a gift basket, square doesn't have the capability to take the individual items that were bundled out of inventory.
I see this request has been asked multiple times since 2016. Is this a change that is coming or should I research to see if perhaps another point of sale software with (or outside of square) is a better fit for my needs?
