Allow moving grid pages

Allow moving grid pages

I need to be able to move my grid pages around. I currently have 3. Two of them are year-round grids, the other is seasonal. As it happens, I built the Fall seasonal one first, so it is tab #1 on the app. I'm about to build a grid for the Winter season, and need to keep the Fall grid for next year.

What I need to do:

1. Build a Winter grid.

2. Move the Fall grid to the last tab.

3. Move the Winter grid to the first tab.

I'll need to repeat this when I create a Spring tab.

Re: Allow moving grid pages

I would also like to see the option to remove/hide the keypad and library option and rearrange the tabs at the top as needed. This seems to be a popular request.

We are also running on an iPad.

Thank you!

Hello @evergreenhouse,

This is a great suggestion! Can I ask what Square Hardware are you currently using right now with the item grid?

We are using an iPad. In addition, I need to be able to have longer descriptions on the item grid.

Good thought, bigcanvascomedy. A description popup with long press would do for me, in that respect. @MayaP is there an update on how this is moving through the review process?

I second the request. I have LOTS of items that I have entered into quite a few pages. It’s a lot to remember, so I need to group the pages in the most logical order.  No big deal for an initial setup, but as I add new product categories, I don’t want to have to redo the whole grid setup.  Plus, we sell seasonal items, so I’d like to be able to move, for example, the Christmas stuff up to the front of the pages when it’s  appropriate, and move it to the back of the pages at the end of the season.
