Why is my online store freezing up and/or declining cards?

I reopened my cafe for takeout today and customers are told to order online and pickup when notified. Square either freezes when they are mid-order or declines their card regardless of how many different cards they try. How can I get it to work properly so I can make sales?

Sorry to hear that your customers are having a hard time. How are they trying to order, on online or in person? If online, this seems to be an internet connectivity issue. I suggest that you try to replicate the problem on your end by ordering the same way. If you continue to experience the same issue, please take a screenshot of what you see and send it over.
