I'm about halfway-through designing a site on the free plan. I saw that part of the upgrade features were additional themes, so I signed up. However, I didn't notice anything different in terms of features within the site editor.
So, searching online I discovered that you can only select the theme at the inception of a new site. Frustrating and silly, but, okay. So I made a new site and am browsing the various themes, however I cannot tell the different exactly between them, nor can I find much discussion about this online or in video tutorials.
Anyone have an idea? I'd like to know before I invest more time in designing another site!
Thank you!

@naturalglow Welcome to the community, Square has a page that shows all the templates and you can explore all the features each on has. They are pretty much split into 2 themes Restaurants or Retail. The main difference in the themes is usually the font, color scheme and photo placement. Here is a link to compare all the themes.

Thanks for the quick reply! Does that mean that themes are more of a "starting point" to building a website vs a different set of features?
Do all themes have the same options when it comes to the layout choices of a Text and Image section, for instance?

I took it as a starting point when I started b yielding our website, After I got started and figured out the features our site didn’t look anything like the template. We change our site often and as a matter of fact it needs a little refresh right now.

Thanks RTFULK--It'd be nice if they had a bit more transparency on the Theme Selection page as to what it is you're actually selecting! If the features are identical between the Free and the Paid themes, that's confusing because I upgraded hoping to get more layout features.
