I have an etsy shop and I set up to sync with square. I wanted to use sku #'s to make it easier to find product when selling in person. Each time I add sku to item on square, when I sync with etsy my created skus disappear. Any suggestions?

Oh Gosh! I am having the same issue. What I have been duplicating my items in square prior to syncing to prevent the SKU from deleting. An improvement in imperative regarding this issue.
Hi Secret Dimple! if you happen to see this message ... I was wondering if you could provide more details about how you are duplicating items to get this to work? If there is some way to prevent the SKU from deleting I would KILL to know how!! thank you!!
Wondering if there has ever been a fix for this? I was hoping to use the etsy-square integration so that my in-person sales get tracked on my etsy page but if it will not pull SKUs over than this will not work for me unfortunately. 😞
As of October 2024 this is still an issue.

I also am having this issue...as of November 2024, it wouldn't be an issue so much if we could adjust the size of the thumbnail on the item screen, or if there was a way to manually account for the SKU number in Square...we would take the time to do it for our in person sales that we have once a month, but luckily we don't sue this crappy system every day. But as it is we would have to take the time to manually enter over 100 unique SKU for our handmade items that are not duplicates.
