Using QR codes for one time payment on website

Fairly new to Square, can I generate a QR code to put on my website which when scanned allows the customer to make a one time payment.  I don't need QR codes for tables etc.

If so, what are the steps to create the code?  The only thing I can find is creating codes to order from a table at a restaurant etc.

Thanks for your reply. The first step in that guide says this:

To create a checkout link from your online Square Dashboard:

  1. In your online Square Dashboard, go to Online Checkout.

I don't have any option that says "Online Checkou".

Here is what my Dashboard looks like:

@STGAlphaPhi.  The video that is in the help document shows you each step.  But basically here they are:

  1. From your main menu click Online.
  2. Click the three bars in the upper left hand corner.
  3. Click on Online Checkout.

That should get you what you need.  If you have the time, I’d recommend watching the short video.  It has lots of helpful things you might find useful.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi @STGAlphaPhi.  I think that online checkout links will work for you.  Here’s a link to the Getting Started Guide.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
