URL issues with Square/Weebly shopping cart

So I decided to go All-In on the Square/Weebly web site. I've owned my own url for over a decade now, and I maintained a web site that had a link to my Square/Weebly site for people to place food and drink orders for my cafe. It always bothered me that the square site had a different url than my main site. So I decided to dispense with my main web site to save on hosting charges and have my url point right to my Square site, which was easy enough to do.

It was a "stealth" pointer that brought the customer to my Square site when they input my url AND my url showed in the address bar - not the Square url. I tried the stealth url because Square's instructions for updating A-Records just didn't work and actually broke my site. And the stealth pointer was so easy.  Nothing needed to be done on the Square/Weebly end.

All looked fine, except that customers started reporting that they couldn't add items to their shopping cart. But not everyone. Turns out it worked with certain browsers (mainly Firefox). But most people were not able to add items to the shopping cart. So I changed to pointer to still bring people to my Square site when they input my url but the url showing in the address bar automatically changed to Square's url instead of my personal url that the stealth pointer would show. Then the shopping cart worked again.

So. I'd love it if some of you monitors out there could report this issue to the Weebly folks. Weird that it works for Firefox. There must be some url-specific code for the shopping cart, I'm guessing? If there is any way they could move that code securely to a session object that would work no matter which url is in the address bar, that would be great! Thanks so much!
