After reading through the message boards, it appears to me that Square Online has no function to automatically disable online ordering at the close of business hours. I am respectfully requesting this capability.
I own and run a coffee shop. We are open 7 days a week, closing each night at 7 PM. The only solution I have found is to manually disable online ordering EVERY night. Settings, Checkout, and disable "Accept online orders."
I have set my online pickup times, at my online store for my location, yet customers are still able to be charged for an order. This happened yesterday evening.
I don't want to have to manually disable online orders every night. I would like the Square Online Team to please create the ability for an online store to automatically disable order acceptance and charging at the close of business. Additionally, please include the ability for us to create a note to be displayed after hours, telling our customers to please try again the next morning, or something we can customize for our customers.

While we don't have the exact feature you're looking for at this time, we do have a workaround. If you're using the online ordering template, you can create time based categories for your items which will alter their availability. Would that work?
