Screen Layout Problem with Curbside Pickup

When Apple Pay & Google Pay are enabled for online store, customers have the ability to click “Checkout” without seeing that they need to check the box for Curbside Pickup.  Furthermore, the display for Cart View on mobile phone has no clear indication to scroll downward to see more things. As a result, customers don’t see the Curbside Pickup checkbox at all in order to enter their vehicle’s identification.

 

You can look at my screenshot to see what I mean.

Please find a way to help with this issue. My shop is 100% curbside pickup due to interior space too limited for comfortable social distancing. Thank you.

Do you offer deliveries along with your Curbside Pick-up? If not, you can turn it off, so you pick-up would be the only option at check out. 

 

Go to your Online Store > Settings > Pickup & Delivery.

Hi @Kassi_ 

 

Because my business does not offer delivery (and our interior is completely closed off), curbside pick-up is the only way we can bring items to our customers when they arrive.  If I turn off that option, customers who pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay won’t get to the “special instructions” box, which only appears after manually entering credit card information, to enter their car’s color and model.   

If there is a text box that requires them to type something in before checkout, then it would solve my problem.

That's right. There is another option you can try. It's a little deeper in the settings, but you can change the default method at checkout. 

 

It gives you a workaround without turning off delivery. 

 

On your Online Store Dashboard > Settings > Pickup & Delivery > Advanced Settings (top right corner, under your business name) > Scroll to the bottom.

In the advanced settings, I only have the “Pickup” option checked.  I’m not sure what work around I can do.

Ah I see! Well in that case then, what you're asking would be a Feature Request for the Online Store.
