Requesting square client access on Weebly for Web Designers portal

Hello, 

I am having trouble with a specific client in sending a access invite via Weebly web designers portal. I type the square account email and I get an error "This email is not associated with a Square account" 

I confirmed with client that the correct email is being used and that Square Online has been setup to be used along with the website. 

Any ideas what is going on?

It is not possible to add an editor from a Square Online account. I can double-check to confirm this on the backend if you can provide the website URL of the site you wish to add editors to. 

Can you clarify what you mean here, "I confirmed with client that the correct email is being used and that Square Online has been setup to be used along with the website."? 

Do you mean the client has a Square account they wish to use with the Weebly website you built? Or are they using a shop page built with Square Online that they wish to use in conjunction with the Weebly-built website?
