Get Expert Feedback on your Square Online Store

Hey Adam,

 I'm needing some help!

First, my online dashboard says I am accepting payments (there is a nice big green button that says 'accepting payments'), but when I add items to my cart in my online store it says in red letters "This store is not yet accepting payments". I can add items to the cart, but the purchase button is grayed out.

Second, next to my website name, in the address bar, it says NOT SECURE. How can I fix this? I have connected my domain to Square from a third party.

Please help! I decided to use Square online because I have a small shop on our school campus and I got tired of my Square POS not integrating with the old website...but now, I can't sell anything online.

Hi, @cak_outfitters. Welcome to the Community!

The second issue with your site being insecure is likely the cause of the first issue; an SSL certificate is required to secure your site and allow people to check out. How long ago did you point your domain? Our system will keep trying to issue an SSL certificate until the DNS changes resolve. I checked your site and it's showing as secure and letting me check out, so it probably just took a little bit for that to happen.
