Question about external email account setup
Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this.
I've set up my site, connected my domain which is from a third party, so far all looks ok.
What I'd like to do, is set up a mailbox account on another hosting account I have. The only way I know how to do this, is to point the nameservers from my domain provider to my hosting account and setup the email account as normal, but, if I change the nameservers, will this effect my square online site?
From what I can see, there was no change to the original nameservers on my domain provider when I connected the domain.
I hope this makes sense...
Thanks.

HI, you can do a search for domain provider to see what domain email services they offer. Some domain providers do offer free email forwarding. It allows you to create a personalized email for your domain then forwarding to email address of choice. If you email of choice is gmail, then you can mask the gmail address within the gmail dashboard.

Hi,
Thanks, it's ok, I figured it. The domain is with domain.com, they said it couldn't be done, probably wanted to push sell a hosting upgrade, but after some playing around I managed what I needed via some DNS manipulation.
Every works as I wanted it too.
