Pre-Order with 24 hour notice and specific pick up hour for daily special

We have a daily special for take home dinners for Tuesdays only.  We need 48 hour notice.  Pick up is Tuesday between 3 and 5 pm.  How do I set this up in square online ordering?

While we don't have a specific pre-order option, we suggest editing the Prep time for your store or that item. Prep time refers to how long it takes to prepare the items of an order placed on Square Online, which can be set up for either an entire order, or per item (for physical and food & beverage item types only).

To set up prep times for all Square Online orders:

  1. In your Square Online Overview page, go to Fulfillment > Pickup & Delivery.
  2. Add your location if you haven’t already, or select Set up location or Edit by the location in question.
  3. Edit the “Order timing settings.”
  4. Under “Prep time,” select the amount of time it takes to prepare your orders.
  5. Select Continue to proceed, and/or Save when finished.

Individual items can take more or less time to prepare. To set up prep times for individual items:

  1. In your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Site Items.
  2. Select a physical or food & beverage item from your site items list.
  3. Go to the Fulfillment section. If the fulfillment method includes Pickup and/or Local delivery, then you can either Use location default, or select a different prep time for the individual item.
  4. Select Save when finished.

Note: Prep times for individual items override the prep time for the entire order.
