Paid and Square hosted custom domain not working
I have recently switched my custom domain to Square and have upgraded my account to use my custom domain but I can not get it to work. It keeps saying this website is not currently available. I have switched back to the free domain from Square and my website is there and working. Can you help me get my paid domain set up so I can use it since I am paying for both (Square to host my domain and for a website to use a custom domain)?

Hi @trbauer who was the domain host provider before the transfer to Square? Sometimes you have to involve the company that first held the site's domain name (GoDaddy, Wix, Weebly, BlueHost, etc..). Sometimes it can also take hours - and sometimes it happens in minutes. Maybe I can help with finding info once I know who the domain name registrar is (?)

I had it at GoDaddy. It have been over a week since I did the transfer and got emails stating it has been completed.

Hi Tiffany - @trbauer - I had a similar issue with a swap from providers prior to Square - I moved from Pinnacle to Squarespace - then ultimately to Square. GoDaddy sent me an email telling me it was fine but it really wasn't, yet....I found that I had to manually look at the settings and double-check. This might help - Square has a resource topic about it. After I manually changed everything it worked right away. I don't have specific experience with it not working inside of Square with Square as the new host though because my domain was too 'old' (GoDaddy's words) to transfer fully to Square so I just have my Square website pointed to my other third-party domain. I have also read that sometimes both sides have to send you an email - Square specifically says 7-10 days for their side. You can check a lot of the DNS info yourself too and just see if anything looks wrong - another resource here.

Thanks for raising this question @trbauer!
@MudFire_Dex has linked some fantastic resources to help you navigate this process. Transferring a domain will take up to 7-10 business days to complete.
During this time, you are able to connect your domain while the transfer process completes. Connecting your domain will redirect customers to your Square Online website and takes far less time, between 24-48 hours to complete.
We'd be happy to walk you through these steps if you'd like to reach out to one of our Square Online specialists by contacting 1-855-700-6000 between 6 am - 6 pm Pacific Time Monday - Friday.
