Order online now invoice later

We sell items by weight I would like to be able to have customers order online and then have final payment go through when we process the order for pick up.  Any suggestions?

On a website there is not a way to allow a customer to pay for half of the item or checkout a customer without an actual amount. What you could do is add the same item with a set of options to give your customer the option to choose the weigh of the item. This way they can actually pay and order the item at check out. Take a look at how to Create and Manage Item Options with Square. This may help.

Thank you Sayra,

 

I need to have different pricing for products in my on-line store for two different locations.  Is there a way to have customers choose for example what state they live in and then direct them to those products/pricing?

Great question!@winolafarm - At this time, Square Online does not support this request. There is not a way to allow your customer to choose what location/state they are purchasing your products from. A small workaround would be to create two versions of the items and make them available only at the mentioned locations. However, this is not exactly what you are looking for.

I am disappointed

that I see Square has been "dealing" with this issue since at least 2016 and has not offered it clients what we are requesting. VERY FRUSTRATED!!!
