Why isn't there a way for customers to enter their email address and be immediately notified when an item is back in stock?

 

This is powerful for two reason:

  • First and foremost, obviously it pushes sales and customer loyalty.
  • It's an opportunity to capture a customer's contact information and add it to marketing database.

Is there any update on this feature? I will likely have to switch to a different platform if this isn't added. I frequently sell out and have may items this feature will help me prioritize what to restock first.

Any updates on this? Much, much needed feature ASAP.

It didn't occur to us when we switched to Square recently that this feature wouldn't be available on a modern ecomm platform (esp one that already has the capability to collect emails). 

It may be the one that causes us to revert (that and the inability to combine discount codes). 

Square would make additional profit if there was a feature to notify customers when a product is back in stock. On our prior platform, this was a significant driver of sales for us. Since we propagate and grow live container plants, seedlings are constantly growing into mature plants and then selling out. It's not like we can just make sure our warehouse is full or something... Please consider instituting feature soon, thanks!

I would also like this feature. 

I would like this feature as well. I honestly don't understand why it hasn't been implemented yet since it would help so many people. 

This NEEDS to be an option! Why haven't you made this an option yet?
