Locations and availability of items

Quick description of my business ... we a for-hire vessel that has daily sightseeing cruises, private charters, weddings etc. We also have two bars. I implemented an online ordering system thru square due to Covid restrictions in NYS. I also have a ticket office that sells snacks not available on the boat. I am also looking to ,over all of our catering options to square to make billing and taxes streamlined.  The catering options would not be available to guests, it would be for internal use only.

My question is: do I create a new Location for the items not available to the others? For instance, one location for the boat bar services, one for the ticket office and one for the catering options? Should I be using a different version of Square?

Hi Lisa. We're an official Square Partner and yep, lots of our Clients do that exact thing all the time - ie. they create another location for more "back of the house" types of items, products or services and then have their "public" (Customer-facing) location. 

 

That's usually a really easy way to do it.
