(Known Issue - Resolved 1/16/24) Duplicate items listed on Online Store

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "same product showing on ALL pages"

 

I just added a new product, it is now showing up on every page in every category????!!!  Can this be fixed!!??

HI @mountaindolls.  Can you provide your website URL or a couple of screen shots showing this item on every page in every category?  That would help in troubleshooting and hopefully helping you find a quick resolution.

delete the product then added it back, but the same thing happened. The only way is to hide it, which sucks.

Square briefly had this issue on their US status page as open but now it seems to be resolved. So your site should be ok now, I would think.

I am having this issue and I was on the phone with square 3 times today and the problem still exists 

 

when I add an item for sale it appears 2x on the website 

 

here are more details.

 

The second “phantom” item has the same name.   It has the  same price.  It has NO photos.    It only appears in “all items”.   When looking in the category, it only shows up once.

 

square support fixes all the duplicates then when I list more things they are duplicated

 

i am out of patience !!!

For some reason, my website is suddenly only showing hundreds of one product on each of my pages. On the back end, it looks fine, but it's a major disruption as I was trying to host a one day sale on it today!!

I figured out that if I hide the product from view, all the others come back, but as soon as I make it available, it happens again. Going to try to delete that product and add it back to see if that solves it.

well, it worked the first time, now that I tried to add it back in, it messed it all up. I even deleted the product from the catalog and it's doing it again with the removed product.

Can someone help us out?! Our square online store is showing a single item offering repeatedly across all our categories!

 

Our entire webshop has been replaced with this one listing over and over, please help, our customers cant order online until this is resolved.Screen Shot 2024-01-16 at 3.00.14 PM.png

Hi @curio  This issue was reported by multiple sellers earlier. Square had it on their US status page as open but now out seems to be resolved. So your site should be ok now, I would think.
