Item stock is not syncing properly

my items are in stock on the backend, but online hey all say out of stock and I am not able to sell any of my items. Even the ones that are showing as in stock are unavailable when someone tries to order it. please help.

Hi @NikkiDMN, thanks for flagging this and sorry to hear that you're having some trouble. 

 

There are a few settings that we can check here: 

 

1) Is Online Item Sync enabled here 

2) Do all the items have stocked attributed to them and marked as visible within item settings? They will also need to have a fulfillment method attributed to them.

3) Are all online store settings enabled? Any missing information can cause issues with specific fulfillment methods.  

 

If all of these settings are set and you are still having trouble, please send a link to your site here and I can take a closer look.

I am still having issues, every time I update the stock of an item, all of them disappear from the shop. This is very frustrating. I also see that there are two separate places to manage the items (makes no sense). Here is my website: nikkidoesmynails.com please help!

I'm having similar problems. I had set an item to 0 in stock about a week ago (it sold at a physical location,) and when I went in to work today that same item says it's available. Another item shows it's out of stock but on my end I have one. I'm not sure what's going on but my items are hand made and if someone were to try to purchase something and it's gone that would be a problem for me. 

 

My settings are correct as far as I can tell. Today when I reset the stock to 0 on that one, it showed as out of stock but reverted back a few minutes later. This is unacceptable and I'm not sure what to do except delete my items.

Not sure what is going on in square but I just found the old dashboard page (somehow) and made the changes to both the items I mentioned in my last post- ie, one was set to 0 because it sold and it appears available online, and the other I have in stock but shows out of stock online. 

 

When I say the old page, it has as message at top saying the page is moving and you have an option to go to it. It says you can manage both online and in person items in square library. Wth?

Your first link is just to the home page of the dashboard, not sure that's what you intended.. My settings are correct. Nothing changed with my items except the new dashboard square changed to. The library items. I used the old one and my items are now properly showing stock. The problem is in your software, it has to be, as I said nothing changed with my items.  Please fix it.

Selling 30 variations of a single product all with stock of 1. When I get an online order, my POS inventory syncs perfectly fine, but then the stuff stays in stock on my online inventory. Allowing me to double sell stuff online. I have been going in and manually changing the inventory number after every sale, but ive already had to refund hundreds of dollars in double orders because inventory sync isnt functioning properly. Please refund the processing fees and fix this issue asap!

Same here. Very frustrated. Absolutely stupid product decision to have 2 places storing inventory and rely on unstable synchronization underneath.
