I’m currently using square in my salon to book and checkout clients, but I am using Square Space for my website and store. Is there a way to just transfer to a square online store without having to totally redesign my website?

Hey there @701beautybar,
Thanks for reaching out! At this time, there isn't a way to transfer your site. You could create a shareable payment link and add it to your site. I do understand redesigning a site can be overwhelming. If you are interested in getting started with Square let us know we're here to help! 😊

@701beautybar I don’t think Square has a way to just copy a website from another hosting hosting company. But, you could try this. Square does have the ability to import your item library, it might take some work and time but may be easier than starting over.
First.
1. Export Content from Squarespace:
• Log in to your Squarespace account.
• Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Import / Export.
• Click on Export and select the appropriate format for your content. You will want to export as a CSV file.
• Download the exported file to your computer.
Next Log into your Square account.
- Log in to dashboard
- Click on Items
- When you get to the items pages, click on ACTIONS (upper right hand corner) then click on Import Library.
- Then follow the prompts.
After you get all your items into the library, it should sync over to your Square online store. A word of caution, if you already have items listed in square, DO NOT select Overwrite entire library. It will delete you previous library.
Herer is a Square support page explaining how to import a CSV file.

No worries, 701beautybar! Switching platforms can be confusing. The best option for you depends on your website complexity and how much online selling you plan to do. Square Online is great for getting started quickly, but Squarespace offers more design flexibility. Would you like to share a bit more about your website and goals? Maybe the community can help you decide!

I want my same website design but just have Square be used for purchasing products. Squarespace doesn’t integrate with Square, so I always have to update my stock on both platforms. My website is 701beautybar.com. Or is there a way to add a page that directs customers to a page that has the Square store from my Squarespace website?
