In Feature Items carousel be able to select to display 1 category

In Feature Items carousel be able to select to display 1 category

In "Featured Items" carousel be able to select a category for example "New Items".

It is much easier when adding new products to add them to a categories, than have to go into edit site and then edit Featured Item and edit the list looking for the items you want to add and remove. All this can easily be done in the category manager area with out editing site and publishing. Current system is more labour intensive and could be forgoten in the rush to launch / add new items.

Also a badge New that expires after 3 or 6 months same as low stock etc.

I just made a post in the wrong section can add to this instead:

I have recently transitioned to using your website for my stores. Customers appear to be enjoying the experience and it's certainly functional but here is some feedback I have regarding the features items.

The Scroll Buttons

On all devices, if you have a button added to the features items in the top right of the box, or are on mobile, you get the scroll button appear on the right hand side of the products. Once you click it, the products slide along once but all the scroll buttons vanish and you can't see what else is available.

My current fix is to remove the button so the scroll arrows take its place but having the button would be great for sending through to hopefully pick up more sales.

Item selection options

The current item selection options are very limited and very uneditable.

It would be great to be able to add X latest items from a category or exclude products from X category if showing most popular items. Just to be able to make the pages more customisable and relatable to what you want to present on the forefront.

A new items section would also be great so we can keep the newest items at the forefront for early sales

Hi @NTastic and @BathTCG!

Thanks for your suggestions, and for providing working examples of what it is you’d like to see going forward. It’s always useful to our product teams to understand the need and use case, when they are considering updates to a feature, or implementing something new.

Please be assured that the feedback on these boards is monitored regularly. So, hopefully there may be something in the pipeline soon that will help improve the customer experience.
