How to allow an on-line customer to pay for a physical item to be shipped and a non physical item?

An ex-student organization that is offering memberships (non physical) and products (T-shirt).  T-shirts will be shipped but memberships are not.  Square is not letting the customer purchase both at the same time.  Can this be fixed?

Yes, with Square, you can purchase a membership and a physical item at the same time by adding both to your cart during checkout however, they will be treated as separate transactions due to the different fulfillment methods for physical goods and non-physical memberships - meaning you'll need to select each item individually and complete the purchase separately within the same order.
